这饭厅最初是一间客厅的附加露台,享有世界贸易中心和金融区。“There’s a certain point in the evening at dusk, particularly in the spring, where the light outside is this distinct blue, and the skyscraper lights begin to illuminate and you have this real New York moment,” says Broom, “Because this space opens out onto that view, I needed to create that same narrative within.” The palette here is an extravagant play of blues, accented with silvery greys and chrome details, as seen on the sculptural bar unit. A silk wall covering has the texture of water that interplays with the light—similarly, silver-grey velvet drapes bring a slightly more rigid yet glamorous texture. The circular Musico dining table and complimentary Musico dining chairs are ornamented by a glimmering Aurora chandelier. A sofa in deep blue and a gradient rug punctuate the far side of the room. The lighting design also tends towards filaments, mirroring the sparkle of the city lights outside. “In terms of cocktails at dusk, it is the perfect environment,” says Broom.
